Etqan Global Academy (EGA)

Established in 2019, Etqan Global Academy (EGA) is an accredited International Baccalaureate® (IB) World School for PYP and MYP, located in Doha, Qatar. We offer the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) with a strong emphasis on Arabic language and cultural studies, catering to students from kindergarten through middle school, with plans to expand through high school.

Etqan Global Academy is a candidate school for the Career-related Programme and the Diploma Programme. This school is pursuing authorisation as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy – a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education that EGA believes is important for our students.

Only schools authorised by the IB Organisation can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorisation will be granted. For further information about the IB and its programmes, please visit www.ibo.org.
