Educational Goals

EGA adheres to the fundamental goals developed by the Qatar’s Ministry of Education and the IB Organization. These goals are summarized below:

 

Intellectual Development

  1. Read for information, understanding and enjoyment

  2. Write and speak clearly, accurately and appropriately for the context

  3. Use mathematics to solve problems in business, science and daily-life situations

  4. Understand the scientific method, the nature of science and technology, and their application to daily life

  5. Demonstrate critical and creative thinking skills in problem-solving situations

  6. Efficient use of information technology

Human and Social Development

  1. Demonstrate desirable personal characteristics such as respect, responsibility, fairness, honesty, caring, loyalty and commitment to democratic ideals

  2. Appreciate the importance of personal well-being and its impact on the family and society

  4. Demonstrate initiative, leadership, flexibility and persistence

Academic Support

Academic Support

  • EGA continually assess its students to provide responsive education that meets their needs.
  • To eliminate the need for home tutoring, EGA provides ongoing intervention to its students during school hours, and if necessary on Saturdays.

EGA utilizes advanced educational applications providing seamless academic support to its students at home or wherever they are.
